Last September, a small group of us gathered in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, with a simple yet profound purpose: to give back. Moved by gratitude for God’s grace upon our lives, we stepped into the streets—not with fanfare, but with food, clothing, and open hearts.
We had noticed people on the sidewalks, near storefronts, even in the parks-men and women who, day by day, roam the city in search of kindness. And we were moved, so we decided to reach out to them. This movement was not about charity, it was about connection.
Some shared stories, while others simply accepted the warm meal or clothing with quiet appreciation.
